These new premium features are sure to make the already-popular truck even more appealing to both seasoned and new drivers alike. The upgraded pickup will hit Ram dealers near you in late 2022.  Let’s take a look at what’s new with this upgrade.

The Biggest Upgrade: Uconnect 5 System

The most important upgrade included in this announcement is the addition of the Uconnect 5 infotainment system. The Uconnect 5 system with a 12-inch touchscreen features advanced technology that includes split-screen capability, 360-degree camera views, and content from SiriusXM with 360L and Personalized Stations Powered by Pandora. The 2023 Ram 1500 lineup includes the Know & Go mobile app, featuring an immersive experience for customers who want to learn more about their vehicles. Active safety and security systems include adaptive cruise control, Forward Collision Warning, Blind-spot Monitoring and Ready Alert Braking. Class-leading ride and handling are accomplished via a segment-exclusive link-coil rear suspension system with optional active-level four-corner air suspension.

Safety First: Advanced Driver Assistance Systems

Ram has also added several advanced driver assistance systems to their lineup as part of this upgrade package. These include blind spot monitoring with rear cross path detection, adaptive cruise control with stop & go technology, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, forward collision warning plus automatic emergency braking, and park assist with perpendicular/parallel parking capabilities.
